AI Is Changing the Rules, and You Need to Catch Up

Well, we're finally there.

I got a message on LinkedIn earlier this week from a tech company wanting me to meet and review their new AI interview technology. Then, a day later, I had a friend tell me he interviewed with a company, and the first interviewer was an AI bot asking him screener-level questions.

Look, I'm all here for the AI revolution that is taking place. I can't imagine my life without it at the moment, as it's a drug that once you get hooked on, you can't really go back. But to think that we're now starting to use AI to replace human-level interactions is wild. And I know we're just at the starting line, too.

Either way, AI is here to stay, nothing is changing, and your ability to adapt is going to be the difference maker in your career as we advance.

The hard truth is that fighting it is a waste of time. You can complain about how unfair it feels or how awkward it might be to interview with a bot, but none of that slows down what's already happening. Every industry is shifting. This wave is touching every role. The people who win in this next chapter are the ones who stop viewing AI as the villain and start treating it like a personal edge. You either get curious and lean in or you get left behind while everyone else figures out how to move faster, think bigger, and produce more with the same twenty-four hours you have.

They give you leverage that used to cost thousands of dollars or hours of time you didn't have. You can build things in minutes that used to take days.
