I'm often asked, "Scott, what are you currently reading?"
The dirty little secret is I'm not a dedicated reader. I go in spurts where I'll buy a book or two, start reading, and then get distracted or bored. I have also gone in spurts with Audible and audiobooks. My issue is I tend to get sleepy and start dozing off, even when I'm in the car driving seventy miles an hour down the road.
So, I decided to poll a number of you and find out what you've been reading lately. Here are the results:
Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins — A no-nonsense, liberating guide to stop controlling, pleasing, or fixing everyone around you — and finally take your power back. The "Let Them Theory" is simple but radical: let people do what they're going to do, and focus your energy on what you can control. This book helps high-achievers and over-thinkers let go of resentment, reclaim emotional freedom, and redirect their energy toward their own peace, purpose, and growth.
The Next Conversation by Jefferson Fisher — A practical, powerful guide to mastering communication in every area of your life without losing your cool. Written by a seasoned trial lawyer turned viral communicator, the book breaks down how to stay calm, clear, and confident in tough conversations at work, at home, or online.
Atomic Habits by James Clear — The definitive playbook for transforming your life by mastering small, consistent actions. Rather than chasing massive change, Clear shows how tiny daily habits compound into extraordinary results over time. Loaded with actionable strategies backed by science.
The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel — A game-changing look at how our mindset — not math — drives financial decisions. Housel reveals that wealth has less to do with spreadsheets and more to do with behavior, emotion, and perspective.
Don't Believe Everything You Think by Joseph Nguyen — A refreshingly simple guide to breaking free from mental patterns that hold you back. It offers a practical path to peace by helping you separate your identity from your internal chatter, release anxiety, and stop overthinking.
Of course, don't forget the bestseller It Probably Doesn't Fucking Matter, by part-time author Scott Bond.
What book are you reading? Reply and let me know — the list keeps growing.
